Pansy Marie Dudley Parr passed away peacefully on April 22, 2015 at the age of 101. The family lost Royal Dudley, Sr. as a result of the Texas City blast in 1947. Pansy later married Royal E. Parr, a lifetime resident of League City. She worked for 30 years at Kilgore's Hardware and Lumber, where many knew her as "Granny", even long before she became one.
