Raymond Arthur Dahlman Sr, of Kemah, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 in Webster, Texas at the age of 85. He was born on May 26, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Berthel A. and Mary E. Dahlman. Raymond worked at Turco / Elf Atochem, and within the Kemah community where he was a member of the Clear Lake Elks # 2322, Kemah Kronies, had served on the KCDC board for the city of Kemah, and was always willing to help in anyway. Raymond loved sailing, going to sporting events, and traveling. Raymond was outgoing and always friendly, he never met a person he could not strike up a conversation with. Raymond was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in League City and the Kemah Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ann Dahlman. He is survived by his sons Richard A Dahlman and wife Linda, Raymond Dahlman, Jr., grandchildren Raymond III, Dennis, Tiffany, Christopher, Nicholas and Beau, nine great grandchildren and many other loving family and friends. A Mass in Memory of Raymond will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1612 East Walker Street, League City, Texas 77573.
