Steve Currie was born in Waco, Texas on July 22, 1964 and passed away in League City, Texas on November 15, 2013 at the age of 49.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert E. Currie Sr. and grandparents Bill and Ruth Barrett. Steve is survived by his mother Gaye Currie of League City; Brothers, Bob Currie and wife Lanette of Magnolia, Texas; Larry Currie and wife Mary of League City, Texas; Nephews Larry Currie Jr. and Clint Currie of League City, Texas; Aunt Dari and Uncle Willie Cotten of Fairfield, Texas; and many more nieces, nephews and cousins; and finally his beloved dog, Sam.

Steve atteneded school at Clear Creek I.S.D. before entering into the United States Army and proudly serving his country. Steve returned to League City after his service in the military and worked in the lumber, automotive, roofing and lawn service industries.

Steve, you will be dearly missed but we can find comfort knowing that you have moved on to heaven to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ.
