Terry was an avid supporter of Texas football; from coaching little league to cheering on the Oilers, and then eventually the Texans. He was so looking forward to their first playoff appearance and we know he will be looking down to cheer them on this Saturday while his family and friends gather to celebrate his life.
Although he was taken swiftly from his earthly home his family rejoices in knowing that the Lord has a unique plan for each one of his children. Those that were blessed enough to have him in their life were inspired by his strength of confidence in the Lord's Word and his unwavering support of all those who entered his life. His character was one of honesty, integrity and hard work. He was known for a giving heart and selflessness to those who love him.
Terry has been a valued employee of Barrios Technology since 2004, where he received his 5 year service award in 2009. He will be remembered for his dedication to the Space Program, work in the ISS Program Office and his never ending sense of humor and animation. During his time with Barrios he received multiple Instant Recognition awards, one being "In appreciation to Terry for consistently amazing us with his ability to be 'all over it' when the rest of us are just catching up." He was a 2006 Barrios Silver Bear Award recipient and in 2011 Terry also accepted the HTV2 Group Achievement Award in a special presentation from JSC Director Michael Coats.
