Wanda Pearl Webb, age 77, passed away at home, February 26, 2013. She was born in Kanawha County, WV on July 1, 1935, to Ira and Nora Goff. She married John Webb in Elkton, MD on September 24, 1954. They made their family home in Dunbar WV and later settled in Houston TX, living in Clear Lake City. They have two sons: Bruce (wife Sandy) of League City, TX and Mike (wife Sandy) of Alvin TX. They have given them much to be proud of, including four grandchildren: Elise Lyons (husband Brad) of Hurricane WV, Steffanie Dunbar (husband Clint) of Alvin TX, Aaron (fiancé Courtney) of Alvin TX, and Casey Bean (husband Caleb) of League City TX. Throughout her life, Wanda inspired all that knew her with her amazing strength and unwavering faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was always anxious to share all of the things the Lord had accomplished in her life. She volunteered her time to many local charitable organizations and used all of her resources to help others in need. She also was a member of the Dunbar Chapter 133 of Eastern Star for 16 years, serving as a Past Worthy Matron. Wanda worked for State Farm Insurance for agents in WV and TX from 1963-1983, then later found her true career passion as a real estate agent in WV and TX. She thrived on helping young couples find their first home and became a friend as well as their agent. A celebration of her life was held March 2, 2013 at Clear Lake Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to the Clear Lake Baptist Church Building Fund or Church Food Pantry. Wanda was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. It would be her wishes for those left behind to put God first in their lives, rejoice in the Lord for her and don't forget to laugh.
