Sorry for your loss. My parents were Keith and Betty Downing who lived on Dickerson Rd, around the corner from Glasser's Store. As a farm family, we produced all of our meat and vegetables. But, we did all of our grocery shopping at Glasser"s I don't remember every shopping in Bay City or Caro. Of course we
bought all of our canned goods, soups, lunch meats, hot dogs, bread and milk from the store. You could even buy shoes and some hard ware materials then. I got my first pair of PF Flyers from Glasser's. Mark was always there working in the store. It was such a nice feeling to "run" to the store and see one of the Glasser Family behind the counter. How different the times are now for shopping. Sending a prayer for you family. Debbie.

My condolences to the family on the recent passings of Mark and Ward Glasser. As a Wisner native, our family spent much time shopping at Glasser's Store. I also went to school for a time with Patsy Glasser. I would love to hear from her just to catch up on the years! My maiden name was Eurich and I graduated from Unionville High School in 1971.
Again, my sincere condolences for your losses. Regards, Sandy Fick
