RYAN, Ardith D. Bay City, Michigan Ardith D. Ryan, 90, of Bay City, our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Bay Medical Care Facility. Ardith was born in Bay City on January 18, 1927, the daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Allen) DeVinney. On April 14, 1950, Ardith she married Charles Carroll Ryan and he pre-deceased her in 1973. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Joe Ryan, Louise Ryan, Tom (Pat) Ryan, Mary Sheneman, Patty (Bill) Howard; grandchildren, Tatum (Scott) Garzell, John Sheneman, Greg Ryan, Eric Ryan, Mark Ryan, and Austin Howard; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Ella Garzell; sister, Doris DeFoe, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Ardith was welcomed home to heaven by her son, Charlie Ryan; daughter, Kathleen Ryan; grandson, Kevin Ryan, and her sisters, Dorothy Garner, Louise Woods, and Martha McKeown. Ardith's family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 9:00 AM until Ardith's 10:00 AM Memorial Liturgy at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church), 614 Pine St., Essexville. Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate with the Rite of Committal to be held privately at St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Bay County Library System. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.
