Stevie Castleman Obituary

Stevie Steve Doyle Castleman, 56, of Nederland, passed away on October 4, 2012, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. He was born on December 3, 1955, in Douglas, Georgia, to Harvey Doyle Castleman and Jimmie Lee Johnson. Steve was a Heavy Equipment Operator and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. Funeral services will be held at Melancon's Funeral Home, 1605 Ave H, in Nederland, on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Will Agy, officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Steve is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother; son, Landon Castleman and wife, Jennifer of Athens, Georgia; grandson, Jacob Castleman of Athens, Georgia; two brothers, Ronnie Leonard of Fannett and Bill Castleman of Buna; three sisters, Mitchalynn Miller of Nederland; Cindy Webster of Winnie; and Belinda Wampler of Douglas, Georgia; two step-sisters, Brenda Nipper of Longview and Sheila Lovell.
