Annette Durrenberger, 71, of Beaumont, died Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on March 3, 1941, in Winona, to Annie Lee Weaver Kay and Erwin Kay, and had been a longtime resident of the area. Annette retired as a medical records transcriptionist for Baptist Hospital. Survivors include her son, Barry Durrenberger and his wife, Tina, of Humble; daughter, Marsha Mitchell and her husband, Chris, of Beaumont; and grandchildren, Casey Durrenberger of Humble, Meagan Mitchell, Hannah Mitchell, and Alyssa Mitchell, all of Beaumont. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Faye Irene Kay; and grandson, Aaron Christopher Mitchell. A gathering of Ms. Durrenberger's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Broussard's, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
