Sarkis, Samir Elias  
1936 - 2014 Funeral services for Samir Elias Sarkis, age 78, of Beaumont will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Orthodox Christian Church in Beaumont, Texas. Visitation is scheduled to begin at 5 P.M. Monday evening December 22, 2014 followed by a Trisagion Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home, 1155 N. 11th Street, Beaumont Texas. Mr. Sarkis was born May 15, 1936 and died December 15, 2014 in Houston, Texas. He is survived by his wife Marie; sons Elias and Imad; daughters, Mouna and Rana; and two grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made In Memory Eternal of Mr. Samir Sarkis Memorial Fund at St. Michael Orthodox Christian Church, 690 N. 15th St., Beaumont, Texas 77702.

Sattler, Frances  
1948 - 2014 Frances Sattler, 66, of Orange, passed away on December 22, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Born in St. Martinville, Louisiana, on June 6, 1948, she was the daughter of Linton Broussard and Marie Barras. Frances worked as a Systems Analyst for Gulf States Utilities before retiring. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Sattler; children, Jimmy Sattler, Jr. of Keller, Texas and Gregory Sattler of Liberty, Texas; three brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society: P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.

Sutton, Michele Lee "Mickey"  
1943 - 2014 Michele (Mickey) Lee Sutton, 71, of Beaumont, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. She was born on March 31, 1943, in Houston, Texas, to Loretta Ruth Watson and the late J.F. (Jack) Watson. Mickey loved Jesus, her family, friends, and church. She retired from All Saints Episcopal School with 31 years of serving as an educator. She is survived by her husband, Grant Sutton of Beaumont; her daughter, Kim Browne and her husband, Trey, of Lumberton and her granddaughters, Paige and Anna Kate Browne; her daughter, Kari Anne Sutton of Sugar Land; her mother, Loretta Watson; her brother, Richard Watson and his wife, Susan, and her nieces, Ashleigh, Heather, and Kendall Watson and Jennifer Heasley of Dallas; and her niece, Michelle Girdler of Marseilles, Illinois. One of Mickey's favorite verses was Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. A gathering of Mickey's friends and family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Broussard's. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard's Crematorium.
