Theobald, Alan Brian "Big Al"  
1957 - 2016 Alan Brian Big Al Theobald, 59, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill. He was born on January 18, 1957, in Beaumont, to Martha B. Theobald and Fred C. Theobald, Jr. Alan graduated from Forest Park High School in May of 1975. He moved to Hemphill in 1994 and there he met his wife of twenty-two years, Linda. Alan worked for many years as a driller with Big E until health issues forced him into leaving his employment. He loved to spend time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Alan enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. He will be remembered and missed by his wife, Linda; children, Amanda Rice, Donnie Weaver, and Martha Jackson; father, Fred C. Theobald, Jr.; siblings, Mark Theobald, Cindy Johansen, and Renee Cole; and grandchildren, Alexis, Payton, Lacy, Rudy, Rebecca, Remi, David Lee, and Farah. Alan is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Theobald; brother, Charles Theobald; and nephew, Ole Johansen, Jr. A gathering of Mr. Theobald's family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, #4 Bayou Brandt, Suite B, Beaumont, Texas 77704; or to an organization of one's choice. Thompson, George Dalton Red  
1931 - 2016 George Dalton Red Thompson, 85, of Beaumont, died Monday, June 27, 2016. He was born on April 26, 1931, in Bluegrove, to Ora E. Lemons and George D. Thompson. He moved to Beaumont from Plainview in 1996. Red immediately joined the First United Methodist Church and was an active member. He worked for eighteen years at the Brentwood Country Club in the pro shop. He is survived in Beaumont by his wife, Linda, and her family B. Sharon and Emily Terrell; sons; Mike Thompson and his wife, Kathy, of Corinth and Kenneth Thompson and his wife, Karin, of Bellville; daughter, Pam Denosky and her husband, Michael, of Austin; and son, Jeffrey Thompson and his wife, Melinda, of Mineral Wells; sister, Patty Green of Conroe; and grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. A gathering of Mr. Thompson's family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Turner, Kayla Alexis  
1997 - 2016 Kayla Alexis Turner, 18, of Groves, Texas a bright shining light to all who knew her went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in Houston, Texas. She was born on December 11, 1997 to Brandy Ash and Nathan Turner in Nederland, Texas. Kayla recently graduated from Nederland High School Class of 2016 and had been accepted into Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas for fall semester. She planned to earn a degree in English and become a teacher. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Groves. Raised by her great grandmother, JoAnn Buff and great grandfather, Aubrey LeJunie of Groves who loved her, nurtured her and put her on the right path. She is survived by her great grandparents, her mother, Brandy Ash of Port Neches, her father, Nathan Turner of Houston, her maternal grandmother, Cindy Buff of Port Neches, her maternal grandfather, Gerald Ash of Port Neches, her half-sister, LuLu Messer of Corpus Christi, her uncles, J. J. Ash of Groves, Shane Buff, and her great uncles, Scott Buff and Jonathan Buff and his wife, Terri along with numerous cousins, special friends, Yael, Max, Reece, Logan and many others. Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A service to honor Kayla's life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Groves. Entombment will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
