Walker, Dorthy Jean "Dot"  
1929 - 2014 Dorthy Jean Dot Walker passed away at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Dot was born in Call, Texas on December 15, 1929 to John and Etoila Loyd. Dot married Robert Bob Walker on June 1, 1947. He preceded her in death July 16, 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Jones and her husband, Norm, of Lago Vista; Debbie McCoy and her husband, Brad, of Duncan, Oklahoma; and Karen Walker of Groves; grandsons, Jamie McCoy and his wife, Kristin, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Jonathan McCoy and his wife, Candice, of Edmond, Oklahoma; four great-grandchildren, Cooper and Peter McCoy of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Lincoln and Vivian McCoy of Edmond, Oklahoma, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends. Thanks to Dr. Scott McKinney and staff, Dr. Manesh Patel and staff, and the nurses on 4SE at St. Elizabeth for the wonderful care. A gathering of Mrs. Walker's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014, at Broussard's, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at First United Methodist Church CFC, Nederland, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery, Port Neches. Walte, Robert Esco  
1942 - 2014 Robert Bob Esco Walter, 72, of Moulton and formerly of Orange, passed away on November 14, 2014, at U.T. Southwestern Hospital in Dallas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Father Francis Conroy. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00pm-9:00 p.m., on Tuesday at the funeral home with a vigil and rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. Born in Abilene, Texas, on July 8, 1942, he was the son of Leo Basil and Sybil (Robertson) Walter. Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had worked as a chemist at DuPont. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Sybil Walter and is survived by his wife, Josephine Marie Schulte Walter of Moulton; children, Laurie Walter of Moulton, Robert Walter and wife, Meg, of Benton, KY, Deborah Hanus and husband, Larry of Carrollton; grandchildren, Joseph Joey Walter, William Will Hanus, and Annemarie Hanus; and his brother, Leo Walter of North Richland Hills. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Walter, Will Hanus, Bob Rapp, Butch Schulte, Buddy Schulte, George Thompson, Larry Hanus and Randy Schulte. The Knights of Columbus will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Watz, Evelyn Irene  
1920 - 2014 Evelyn Irene Watz, 94, passed away on November 18, 2014. She was born to Johanna and Ed Kresta on September 23, 1920, in Moravia, Texas, near Hallettsville. She grew up on the family farm outside of El Campo, Texas. Her life centered on faith, family, friends and good food. For twenty-four years she worked at the family restaurant The Green Beanery in Beaumont, where she was known for her gracious hospitality and delicious desserts. Her heartfelt compliments and smile welcomed all who entered the business. Evelyn loved to travel near and far with friends and family and never refused an invitation for a vacation. She was an active member of St. Jude parish and several Czech heritage associations. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Roy Watz; her parents; and two sisters, Sylvia Holub and Hattie Pavlu. She is survived by daughter, Carolyn Wood; son, Glenn Watz of Beaumont; granddaughters, Shelly Wood Felton of The Woodlands and Krin Wood Mock of Kingwood; great-grandchildren, Colby, Kyndall, Kinsey and Cameron Felton, and Cory and Nicole Mock; and eleven nieces and nephews. Memories of Mom, Eva, Grammie, GG, Aunt Evelyn will be treasured forever. A Rosary for Mrs. Watz will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with her gathering to follow until 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2014, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont. Her graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday afternoon, at Holy Cross Memorial Park in El Campo. Wise, Crystle Rae - Groves  
1961 - 2014 Crystle Rae Wise was born in Port Arthur, TX on January 6, 1961. She is preceded in death by her partner Gail Graham and recent loss of her 14 year old dog Sasha. Crystle worked for Firestone Polymers in Orange, TX for 22 years and recently took a position with DuPont in LaPorte, TX. She was a loyal friend to those close to her. Crystle loved her family and was very close to her mother and father. She was looking forward to a life changing move in the Houston area to be closer to her daughter and grandson. Being the animal lover that she was, Crystle was known to take in strays and donated to multiple local animal organizations. She loved to travel, eat out and spend time with her two dogs, Sadie and Mabel. Her radiant spirit will forever live on in those dear to her. Crystle Rae Wise is survived by her parents Adam Ray and Betty LeBlanc of Bridge City, TX, daughter Jasmine Rae Wise and grandson Ian Ghosh of Houston, TX. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite animal shelter in her name. Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday, November 21, 2014 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, TX. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Clayton Thompson.
