Albert Mack Moochie Robinson

Albert Mack Moochie Robinson, 91, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, answered the Master's call on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Albert was born on July 19, 1922 to Charlie Robinson and Ester Mae Stallworth in Bels, Louisiana. He moved to Beaumont as an infant and was raised by a kind lady named Rosa Jenkins, whom he called mother dear. Albert graduated from Charlton pollard High in 1941. He served his country as a combat soldier in the U.S. Army in WW II receiving a campaign medal with 5 Bronze Stars and a World War II Victory Medal. Many remember Moochie from his longtime employment with the US Postal Service. Others knew him as a successful agent with New York Life. Albert always had a spirit of service. Albert's passing will leave a tremendous void in the lives of all who knew him. He leaves behind his loving wife Dorothy, 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and a host of others who loved him. Albert's life will be celebrated on Thursday, February 13, 2014, with a Memorial Service at Fifth Ward Church of Christ, 4308 Stonewall St., Houston, Texas 77020, from 9:00am - 10:30am. The Life Celebration will follow beginning at 1:00pm at Westgate Church of Christ, 6390 Westgate Dr., Beaumont, Texas 77706. Albert's earthly tabernacle shall rest in the Live Oak Memorial Park, 12563 W. Port Arthur Rd., Nederland, Texas 77627.
