Elona Mae Redmon Bridges Kelley

Elona Mae Redmon Bridges Kelley June 23, 1935 - August 31, 2013 SUNRISE - SUNSET Madear left to mourn a daughter - Florence G. Jones (Jonesie) and son - Forrest Bridges, Jr. (Vallerie); six (6) grandchildren; twenty-two (22) great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; family and friends. Madear was Aunt Loni Mae to all her nieces and nephews, and she will be dearly missed by all. Also to mourn, the grandchildren that called her dear dear we shall never forget. Mom was a devoted servant of Pleasant Green Baptist Church, where Pastor, J. C. Franklin officiated; there she was a member of the choir, sang in the original group of the Voices of Harmony, where they produced an album, she headed the youth group of the church and directed and wrote plays for the church's Christian events. Madear was also employed by Beaumont State Bank, until her retirement. After retirement, she ran the deli at Fertitta's and opened her own deli within the bingo hall. Later, after moving to the Houston area, she joined union with Greater Saint Matthews Church, where Co-Pastor, Ronald Booker officiated. Thanks to all the staff and friends at Park Manor of Humble, Texas, and Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital of Humble, Texas. A special thanks to nephew, Johnnie Kirkwood Mano and wife, Salle of Seattle, Washington, who's visit brought her so much joy. Last but not least, words cannot express the love I have for Niqki, Boo and Snow for being with her to the end; I will always love you. I had to leave my earthly home, for my heavenly Father was calling for me to come home. Ohoo what a happy day as I gazed upon His Angelic face. I don't mind if you cry for me because I cried for you as well. Just know I'm with my mother and my father too. There's my brothers and sister as well. We mourn no more, we hurt no more, and we're singing, shouting, and praising His Holy Name. Walking around heaven all day; how awesome - you have no idea. Hallelujah, Hallelujah I'm here to see the King, the Prince of Peace. He's the Alpha and Omega, He's my bright and morning star. PEACE, LOVE AND HAPPINESS until I see you all again. BLESSED be His holy name. JESUS, OHOO, JESUS! MY LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. May life's sunniest moments shine just for you. Service Pending.
