Grady Cole Dupuy

Grady Cole Dupuy, 51, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at his home in Fannett. Cole attended Hamshire-Fannett High School. After high school Cole went to work in the refineries as a welder. Later he became self-employed skinning alligators and building fences. Cole's true life time love was the great outdoors of Southeast Texas. This included deer and hog hunting, fishing, and trapping. He is survived by his daughter, Ivy N. Dupuy; and son, Wesley R. Dupuy, both of Port Arthur; granddaughter, Kimber E. Renfro of Port Arthur; mother, Mary Jo Dupuy of LaBelle; brothers, Clay Dupuy and his wife, Marilyn and Cass Dupuy, all of LaBelle; sisters, Carol Dupuy Rogers of LaBelle and Connie Garza and her husband, Rudy, of Fair Oaks Ranch; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Cole is preceded in death by his father, Sidney Dupuy; uncle, Herbert Dupuy; and nephew, Gabe Dupuy. Cole will be loved and missed every day by his family, friends, and loved ones. A memorial service for Mr. Dupuy will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Grace Community Baptist Church, 22044 Burrell Wingate, Fannett. A gathering of his family and friends will follow at Pine Tree Lodge, 3296 Pinetree Road, LaBelle.
