John Freddie Trahan Jr.

John Freddie Trahan, Jr., 49, of Beaumont, died Monday, October 8, 2012. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born on September 3, 1963, to Jean Wilkerson and John F. Trahan. Freddie was a pipefitter with Local Union #195. Freddie was known for his drawings of cars and religious themes, and was an avid Dallas cowboy fan. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jean Wilkerson Spell and David of Beaumont; father and stepmother, John Trahan and Pat of Groves; sisters, Deanna Trahan of Houston and Rebecca Mackin of Grand Bay, Alabama; uncles, R.W. Wilkerson, Jr. and his wife, Debra, of The Woodlands, and Riley G. Wilkerson and his wife, Jacky, of Beaumont; aunt, Margaret Ames and her husband, Don, of Austin; cousins, Laurie Jordan of Orange, Katlyn Wilkerson and Jasmine Wilkerson, both of The Woodlands, and Joanie Worthington of Deer Park; three nieces; one nephew; and numerous other loving family members. A gathering of Mr. Trahan's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Cathedral in the Pines Church, 2350 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
