Lydia Marino Fasulo

Fasulo Lydia Marino Fasulo, 84, of Beaumont, died Sunday, January 6, 2013. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born on May 7, 1928, to Rosalie and Nicholas Marino. Lydia had a sweet and shy demeanor; she was humble and always spoke kind and gentle words. Survivors include daughters, Marianne Irby and her husband, Glenn; Liz Ferguson; Therese Harrison and her husband, Shorty; and Rosalie Cook and her husband, D.C.; sons, Mark Fasulo; John Fasulo and his wife, Gretchen; and Peter Fasulo and his wife, Robin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Carlo S. Fasulo Jr.; and her son, Carl J. Fasulo. A gathering of Mrs. Fasulo's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013, with a Christian Vigil to begin 7:00 p.m., at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 10, 2013, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
