Sam S. Barranco

Sam S. Barranco, 89, passed away Saturday December 21, 2013. He was born on August 6, 1924, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and was a World War II veteran. He and his wife, Ann Barranco, were the owners of Barranco's Bakery & Donut Shop on East Lucas in Beaumont. Survivors include his daughters, Christine (Chris) Thompson of Austin, Diane Duplechain and Carol Ann Sanders, both of Lumberton; nine grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; and two great-g reat- grandchildren He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ann of sixty-seven years; and his daughter, Santina (Sandy) Barranco. A Memorial Mass for Mr. Barranco will be10:00a.m Saturday December 28, 2013, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
