Velma Provo, age 88, of Beaumont, TX, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital. She leaves a legacy of love to her sons, Lester Provo (Carrie) and Alvin Provo of Beaumont; daughter, Brenda Provo Joubert of Beaumont; brother, Harry Botley (Ethel) of Beaumont; sister, Ruthie Lee Russell (Curtis) of Houston, TX; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren; and host of other loving relatives and friends. Celebration of Life services for Velma will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Douglas Memorial CME Church, located at 1370 Ewing St., in Beaumont, officiated by Rev. David Robinson. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., at the church. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the professional care and direction of the Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel staff.
