Judith Davis Obituary

Judith Davis passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital May 16th, 2009. She was a long time resident of Port Arthur, Texas and spent over 15 years in Southern California. Judith, a licensed early childhood educator, provided years of expertise to her community and had a special place in her heart for children. A devoted and extremely proud grandmother, Judith helped to raise her 4 grandchildren, Christopher Lamson 28, Andrew Lamson 25, Sarah Lamson 14 and Seth Lamson 10. Judy, as she was loving known, was preceded in death by her father George Potts, her mother Annalee Potts, her husband Hal Davis and her eldest son Scott Lamson. She is survived by her sister Mary Chilton Barlow of Pleasanton, Ca. and sons Chris Lamson of Beaumont, Texas, Bert Lamson of Groves, Texas and Mark Lamson of Tucson, Arizona. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 20th, 2009 from 6-8 PM. The funeral will be held Thursday, May 21st, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Levingston Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
