WILLIAM SETTLE Obituary

I have very fond memories of Bill. He was one of my best friends through high school. We had loads of fun being teenagers together. We both attended Lamar although I think he was the better scholar.
I know you will miss him; I will too.
God Bless!

I know he was smart (didn't know how smart), haven't seen him since I was a teen, use to fix breakfast for he & my brother O.V. Baker. Didn't realize he had accomplished so much, sorry to hear of your loss, know you will miss him. Boy he still had lots of hair, some sure don't at his age. O.V.'s little sister Pollie (Baker) Dean-Beasley. I still live in the area (Groves) & lost my husband of 39 years in 2005, know what a loss that was. Hope you don't mind the humor, thinking of your family.

Tommy and Lewis, I was sorry to read about Bill. Although I had not seen him for many years, I remember him as a little boy always wanting to be where you guys were. Having just lost my older brother, George Donald the day after Thanksgiving, I know how you must feel. Take care, stay strong, and remember all of the good times you had with Bill.
