Rose & Ben Williams touched a lot of souls during their life time. Mrs. Williams was my 11th grade history teacher. Their beliefs in God, Family and education lives on in their seven children, gran children and great grans. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time and so are the memories of the House of Prayer in Amelia. God bless

My deepest sympathy to the family.
Daddy was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, nephew, friend, and child of God.
He was a quiet man, soft spoken, but when he spoke everyone listened. Yes, he was quiet, but if you sat down and talked with him, he would talk your ear off. Daddy always said a lot of funny things. Funny stories too. He had a good sense of humor and made people laugh. His laugh would fill the room. He also loved to sing in church.
Now Daddy has gone off to his reward. All will miss him deeply who knew him, but he is with God and Rose. Rest in peace, Daddy. I will see you again one day.

I grew up knowing and loving the Willams Family. As a child I was frequently in your home every year and remember the love and wonderful times that I shared with the entire family all through the years. I remember how good Bro. Williams looked the last time I saw him. He had the looks of a very proud loving Father and of a christian who had fought a good fight and was just living peacefully. I love and pray for you all. I think the hardest thing in life is the death of your parents, the purpose of our being here. There is so much emotions you go through in losing them, but the love you have for them will last forever. May God continue to bless this family and console you. Mr. Ben was a joy to be around and he loved his family very much. I will always remember that bottle of cologne he kept in his car when he was a crossing guard at Fehl. I saw him putting some on one day and stopped to ask him what was really going on! We laughed so hard about this. He was so strong for most of his life, and we are grateful to God for letting him be here with us for so long.

It was my pleasure getting to know Bro. Ben Williams Sr. He was such a gentle and kind man. One with great stature, charm and style. Each time I'd see him, I could expect a warm hug, a sweet word followed by a shy yet bold smile! He will truly be missed by all who knew him as he played a significant role in the lives of many.
