1955 - 2014 Alan Dale Sundgren , 58 passed away on August 30, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Dale was born on December 21, 1955 to Mickey Cleveland Sundgren and Carroll R. Sundgren. Dale graduated from South Park High School. He worked in the family business, Texas Welding Works; later in the petro chemical industry for Triple S and Zachary. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Stone Sundgren, his daughters; Rachel Gray and Alana Manni, granddaughters; Emma Gray and Maylee Manni, stepsons; Christopher Cabaniss and Dustin Huckabee, his mother, Mickey Sundgren- Lothrop, brothers; Robert Steven Sundgren and wife Debbie, Carl Lee Sundgren and wife Debbie and Gary Ray Sundgren and his wife Stacy. Also four nephews and six nieces. Mother and father in-law, Jimmie and Ernest Stone and brother-in-law Robert V. Woodin II. As well as numerous friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. God raised him to Heaven, leaving with us good memories until we meet again. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday,September 3, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the or Wesley United Methodist Church.
