Alandrus Gray Barnes, 50 of Rogers, AR, formally of Jasper, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in Springdale, AR. She was born December 6, 1962 in Jasper, TX to Vida Hadnot, and was raised by her adopted parents, James and Mary Gray. She was an LMSW Oncology Social Worker at Hope Cancer Resources, and an alumni of the University of Arkansas Graduate School of Social Work, and a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Inc., and a member of Restoration Church in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Gray, and one brother, George Little. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Barnes, one daughter, Brianna Barnes, one son, Luke Barnes all of Rogers, AR., two brothers, Jimmy Little and Phillip Jones both of Jasper, TX. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 23rd at Evergreen Baptist Church in Jasper with Rev. Leday officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery in Jasper, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to any local Family Violence Center . Local arrangements are under the direction of Robinson Community Funeral Home of Jasper, TX.
