Alvin Joseph LeBlanc, Jr., 85, of Beaumont, died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born July 9, 1926, in Abbeville, Louisiana, he moved to Beaumont as a boy. Alvin served in the United States Navy during World War II, and was a retired Captain with the Beaumont Fire Department. He is survived by his, wife of fifty-six years, JoAnn Cummings LeBlanc; sons, Gregory LeBlanc of Houston, and Dennis LeBlanc and his wife, Erin of Gonzales, Louisiana; daughters, Judith Lené and her husband, Terry of Beaumont, and Diana Ferguson and her husband, Gregg of China; grandchildren, Sarah Lené, Derek and Logan Ferguson, and Chelsey LeBlanc; step- grandchildren, Lytonya Kelly, Lance Lené, and Tyler Liles; step-great- grandchildren, Jasmine, Julia, Joey and Kabriel. A Rosary will be recited 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2012, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 245 West Highway 90, China, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
