Anita Sadtler Green Anita Sadtler Green peacefully passed away on the 23rd of May 2014. She was born in Beaumont, Texas, on May 30, 1930 to Dennis McLain Sadtler and David Taylor Sadtler. Anita spent her early years in Beaumont before moving to Midland, Texas. While living in Midland in 1951, Anita met her husband of 54 years, Howard Russell Green. Anita and Howard were blessed with 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Anita and Howard moved from Edmond, Oklahoma to Panorama Village, Texas in 1992. Panorama was the perfect location for them to pursue their love of playing golf and bridge as well as spending time with their many friends. Anita enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and working puzzles. She was a gracious and loving lady who never knew a stranger and always had a smile on her face. Anita was a dedicated member of St. James Episcopal Church in Conroe. She is survived by her loving children, son Matthew Green of Bedford, Texas, daughter Valerie Welps and husband John of Liberty, Texas, daughter Anne Lorenz and husband Greg of Danville, California, and daughter-in-law Pam Green of Edmond, Oklahoma. Anita was preceded in death by her husband Howard, sons Christopher Eric Green and Russell Lee Green, brothers David Sadtler and James Sadtler and her parents. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. James Episcopal Church, 1803 Highland Hollow Drive, Conroe, Texas. In lieu of flowers the family has requested charitable contributions be made in honor of Anita to .
