Ann Marie Barranco, 88, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013. She was born on September 6, 1924, in Brooklyn, New York, and was the wife of Sam S. Barranco. Ann worked by Sam's side at Barranco's Bakery & Donut Shop on E. Lucas in Beaumont for over thirty-five years and raised four daughters. Survivors include her husband of sixty-seven years, Sam Barranco; daughters, Christine (Chris) Thompson of Austin, Diane Duplechain and Carol Sanders, both of Lumberton; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Barranco will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
