Anna Ruth Garrett Zeno, 79, passed away at Silver Springs Nursing Home in Houston, TX on January 16, 2013. She was a native of Beaumont, TX and was retired from the Houston Independent School District. Heartfelt memories of Anna Ruth will be left to her sons, Kenneth Garrett, Roy Zeno (Donna) and John Zeno; daughters, Debra Alexander, Lillie Mae Zeno, Esther Cezar, Julia Proctor and Pamela Randolph (Dr. Patrick), brother, David Garrett, Jr. (Marie) and sister, Rosa Nell Sylvester (John), 47 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a loving host of other family and friends. Celebration of Life services for Anna Ruth will begin on Friday, January 25, 2013, at the Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel (624 Irma Ave.) with a visitation 1:00 pm-6:00 pm. Additional services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Maximized Life Christian Center 1100 Dell Dale St. in Channelview, TX. There will be a visitation from 9:00 am-10:45 am followed by the funeral services at 11:00 am officiated by her son-in-law, Dr. Patrick T. Randolph at the church. Burial will be in Beaumont, TX at Magnolia Cemetery at 2:30 pm under the professional care and direction of Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel.
