Antoinette Farnie, 97, of Beaumont, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on the 7th of July 2012. Although her given name was Antoinette, she was lovingly known as Mom, Mema, Nanny, Auntie, Toni, and Mitsy. She lived most of her life in Beaumont and was a devout Christian. Not only did she serve the Lord every day of her life, but she was an example of love and faith to all who knew her. Her unconditional love was present in everything she did, and we were all blessed to have her here on Earth for so long. Our Mema lived from September 27, 1914 - July 7, 2012, but it was her life in between that made her a loving saint to all. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Joe, Henry, Sam, Nick, Tony, Guy, and Vic Fazio and her sister, Connie Dattalo. Antoinette is survived by her daughter, Dianne Casteel of Helotes; her three grandchildren: Ashli and husband, Major James Blanton of Prattville, AL; Jaret Casteel and wife, Amanda of Leakey; Brittany and husband, John Kotsianidis of San Antonio; her two great- grandchildren, Kirsten and Haley Blanton; and numerous adored nieces and nephews. Loved ones are invited to attend a rosary, followed by mass on Friday, July 13, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, located at 1115 Orange St., in Beaumont. Graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The Guest Book is expired.
