Arthemise Hebert, 86, of Beaumont, Texas, died Friday, March 22, 2013, at Harbor Hospice. She was born February 8, 1927, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Chauncey and Myrtle Reeves. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John Hebert, Sr.; her son, John Hebert, Jr.; one brother and three sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryll Hebert of Beaumont; sister, Carolyn McManus of New Orleans; brother, Walter Reeves, Sr. of El Paso, Texas; other loving family members and dear friends. Mrs. Hebert taught in the Catholic School system in Beaumont, and was a retired United States Postal Service Clerk. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4445 Ave A, in Beaumont. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m., followed by the Rosary from 10:30 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Live Oak Memorial Park, under the professional care and direction of Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Toups and the Beaumont Adult Medical Staff and the Harbor Hospice staff for their extraordinary care. In lieu of flowers masses are preferred for Arthemise Hebert.
