Arthur Gerald Stansbury, 86, of Morro Bay, California was born in Port Arthur, Texas. Passed away May 2, 2014, at his home, with his wife Pauline by his side. Arthur received a AA was a gunnery sergeant for 27 years in the U.S. Marines . He was a juvenile probation officer with Tulare County, California, had many teaching positions. He belong to the Elks, Moose, DAV and went through all the chairs to be president of Aerie 3693 in Morro Bay, California. He loved to travel east to visit family. The family would like to thank Wilshire Hospice and all who helped and cared for him. Arthur is survived by his wife and the love of his life Pauline, daughters Chris and Tammie, sons Jerry and Paul seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Wilbur Doehring of Texas, cousins Louisana and Texas, and many loving nieces and nephews. Celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, at the Morro Bay Eagle Aerie 3693, 2988 N. Main St., in Morro Bay, California. A September burial will be held at Arlington Nation Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arthur's name to Morro Bay F.O.E. 3693, Wilshire Hospice of San Luis Obispo, California.
