Belva Jean (Young) Siebenthall, 81, of Wildwood, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Dogwood Trails Manor, Woodville. She was born on October 23, 1931, in Beaumont, to Nora Earle Carter Young and Allen Young. Belva and her husband, Carl, lived in Visalia, California for many years. It was there that she became an avid bird watcher and also continued her favorite pastime, horseback riding. She mastered the English saddle and rode in numerous horse shows. She loved writing poetry and dreamed of one day writing a novel. Belva helped start a Christian School which was built on the grounds of her home church, The Church of Christ of Visalia. She taught first and second grade and became the school administrator. She retired in 1998 and moved back to Texas settling in Wildwood. She was active in Wildwood Bird Watchers. Her greatest love was for God and his word and for her church, Church of Christ in Warren. Survivors include her son, Bruce Allen Siebenthall; grandson, Josh Siebenthall, both of England; sister, Jane Forsythe and her husband, Roger, of Wildwood; nieces, Melissa Forsythe of Fort Worth, Jennifer Blackwell of Groves, and Brenda Bodin of Nederland; nephew, Roger Forsythe, Jr. of Nederland, and a host of other relatives and friends. A gathering of Mrs. Siebenthall's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Broussard's, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2013, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont. Memorial contributions may be made to
