B Bevis Carlo Skinner, 82, of Buna, died Friday, March 30, 2012, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a retired lab tech with Dupont. Carlo proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Carlo is survived by his wife, Helen Skinner; daughter, Peggy Perry and her husband, Murphy of Buna; son, Stephen Skinner and his wife, Sue of Bridge City; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; brother, Verlon Skinner of Kirbyville; sisters, LaVerne Palmer of Nederland and Jeanette Golden of Huffman; nieces and nephews; and numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bevis and Lida Skinner. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2012, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with burial to follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, April 1, 2012, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Broussard's.
