Blanche Baker Risinger, 95, native of Houston County, passed away May 25, 2012 in Woodville, TX. Blanche moved to Woodville in 1937 and later married William Herman Speck Risinger. She was the proprietress of Jacques Specialty Shop on the square in Woodville for 43 years. Blanche was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution, Woman's Study Club, and Woodville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Speck, and her two sons, Herman and John David Risinger. She is survived by her daughter, Blanche Shaw & husband, Don of Woodville; grandsons, John David Risinger Jr. (Mandy) of Woodville, J. Michael Risinger (Amy) of Woodville, Nate Shaw (Julie) of Lumberton, and Will Shaw of Bryan; granddaughters Lucy Chambers (Jason), and Amanda Kozma, of Woodville; 10 great grandchildren and a host of friends and family. Services will be held Monday, at 11am at the Woodville United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowes, memorials may be made to Woodville United Methodist Church Building Fund.
