1946 - 2014 Blanche Risinger Shaw, 68, native of Tyler County, passed away surrounded by family and friends on June 27, 2014 in Woodville. She spent most of her life in Tyler County and was the home-bound teacher for the Tyler County Education Cooperative for 28 years. Blanche was a member of the Women's Study Club and Woodville United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and dear friend to all and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Don Shaw; sons Nate Shaw (Julie) of Lumberton and Will Shaw of Bryan; and two grandchildren, Laurie and Nathan Shaw; nephews John David Risinger, Jr. (Mandy) and Michael Risinger (Amy); and nieces Luci Chambers (Jason) and Amanda Kozma; great nieces and nephews Rachael Risinger, Jake Risinger, Kelsi Risinger, Conner Risinger, Carlie Risinger, Emma Chambers, Hannah Chambers and Halee Kozma. Memorial service will be Tuesday July 1st at 11:00 am at Woodville United Methodist Church with interment at Magnolia Cemetery preceding at 9:30 am.
