Bobbie Jo Hayes of Lumberton, Texas passed away at St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, TX Monday, December 16, 2013. Visitation will be from 11:00 - 1:00 PM Thursday at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home with the funeral service to immediately follow at 1:00 PM. Rev. Robert Turnage and Rev. Charles Turnage will officiate. Born in Denison, Texas on December 2, 1933, Bobbie was the daughter of John and Ethel Lewelling. Bobbie was so full of life and love for others. Her passion and first love in life was her great love of the Lord Jesus Christ and helping others. She was a very giving person and always putting others first. She was a compassionate person, a great lady, and was loved and admired by all who knew her. The joy of her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by daughters, Linda Rich and husband John, Sandy Welch and husband, Steve and son David Lee Hayes and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Tiffany and Josh Price, Mark and Rebekah Welch, Jason and Mandie Welch, Chris and Jessica Hayes, Nicole and Jimmy Lane, Gage Hayes, and Russell and Christine Hanson; eleven Great- grandchildren; and brothers, Jimmy and Ronald Lewelling. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Lewelling, husband, David Dean Hayes and brother, Waymon Lewelling.
