Bonnie Sue Ransonette, 52, of Beaumont, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014. She was born on September 28, 1961, to Ruby Courville Ransonette and Harold Ransonette, Jr., in Port Arthur. Bonnie worked as an auditor for Jefferson County and previously worked in several banks in the area throughout the years. Above all, Bonnie loved her family and friends and was the light of everyones life. She was an amazing dancer who won many dance contests. Bonnie is a 1980 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur, where she was drum major of the Red Hussars. She also attended Lamar University as an adult and was very close to obtaining her lifelong goal of getting her Bachelors Degree. Survivors include her mother, Ruby Courville Ransonette of Beaumont; sisters, Laurie Anderson and Terry Grillo and Terrys husband, Dan, of Beaumont; brother, Stuart Ransonette and his wife, Kim, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; nieces and nephews, Cory Anderson and his wife, Jamie; Elliott Grillo and his wife, Maritza; Alec Grillo; Katie Grillo; Sean Ransonette; and Christian Ransonette; great-nieces, Ava Anderson, Isabelle Grillo, and Freya Grillo; great-nephew, Lucas Anderson; special friends, Kelly and Clay Adams; and a multitude of other relatives and too many friends to list here. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Red Ransonette. We would like to extend a special thank you to our friend and advisor, Alicia Horn, and to Altus Hospice for their loving care of Bonnie. A Christian Vigil for Ms. Ransonette will begin at 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2014, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with a committal to follow at Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont. Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Red Hussar Alumni Association.
