Charles Richard Tanner, M.D., 77, passed away at his daughter's home in Parker, CO on April 10, 2012. Born May 9, 1934, in Fordyce, AR, Chuck attended the University of Arkansas and married Nancy Carolyn Clingan on June 10, 1956. He completed his anesthesia residency at UTMB Galveston and was a partner in Anesthesia Associates in Beaumont, TX for nearly 43 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy Carolyn (July 17, 2010), Chuck is survived by his daughters, Karen Tanner-Smith and her husband, Mark of Parker, CO, Kathryn Tanner, M.D. of Hartsburg, MO, Donna Tanner Day and her husband, Kenneth of Austin, TX, and Diane Tanner Anderson and her husband, Paul of Carrollton, TX; his grandchildren, Tanner, Dylan, Jessica, Alex, and Mandy; his brother, Kenneth Tanner and his wife, Paula of Ten Sleep, WY. Memorial services are at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012, at First United Methodist Church, Fordyce, AR, with graveside services at Okolona Cemetery, Okolona, AR.
