1934 - 2015 Charles B. Soileau, 80, of Woodville, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Woodville Health and Rehab. He was born on July 29, 1934 to Mary Leola Soileau and Audley J. Soileau in Washington, LA. He was a former resident of Port Arthur before moving to Woodville over 21 years ago. Charles retired from Chevron as an electrician after 36 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodville. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Monday, February 2, 2015 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson with Rev. Cullen Bullock, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Matthew Etheredge. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Soileau of Woodville, his daughter, Barbara Lopez and husband, David of Woodville, his sons, Kenneth J. Soileau and wife, Patrice and Charles E. Soileau and wife, Brenda both of Groves along with 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren with one on the way.
