Mr. Clarence Leday, Sr. 04/07/29 - 06/18/13 Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, talented musician and singer. He played guitar with several Zydeco bands and in his late 60's he cut his first CD. One very popular song was Mr. Charlie which received many requests on the Lake Charles radio stations. He loved his church, family and serving in the community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence and Ida Leday; brothers, Adam Laday Sr. and Peter L.J. Leday; sister, Elenor Eaglin. He is survived by his wife Mallina Leday of 64 years; daughters, Eva Bushnell (Rodney) of Beaumont, Tx., Evelina, Shelia Leday of Kinder, La., Barbara Griffin of Lake Charles, La.; sons, Clifford Leday (Marcella) of Lake Charles, La., Clarence Jr. (Iris) of Basile, La. and Eddie Leday (Veronica) of Oberlin, La.; grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. A wake Service will be held from 4pm-9pm Friday, June 21st and a viewing will be Saturday from 8am until time of service in Kinder La. at Ardoin Funeral Home, 438 N. Eighth Street. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 am at St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church, 604 4th Ave., Kinder La.
