1921 - 2015 Clementine Alice Davis Charlton passed away on Sunday morning, July 26, 2015, at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She was 93. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houston. Visitation was held from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at St. Bernadette. Interment followed on Thursday, July 30, at 10:00 am, at the Anthony Cemetery (intersection of Pine St. & Gill St.) in Beaumont, Texas. Mrs. Charlton was the wife of the late George Charlton, Sr. and a teacher with the Beaumont Independent School District for nearly three decades, before retirement. She is survived by her six loving children - George (Pageant) Charlton, Jr. of Tulsa, Camille (Felix) Jackson of Anahuac, Spencer (Raynett) Charlton of San Francisco, Lanetta (James) Muldrow of Anahuac, Lauretta (Don) Lewis of Houston, and Clementine (Floyd) Booker of Houston; 14 grandchildren, Angela Charlton, George Mason Jones, Emily Armstrong, Stephanie Charlton, Felicia Jackson, Felix Jackson, Roxie Charlton, Nathan Charlton, Lauretta C. Charlton, George C. Charlton, James Muldrow III, Armstead Lewis, Camille Booker, Simone Booker; seven great grandchildren, Waily Charlton, Philip Armstrong, Charlton Armstrong, Jeremiah Rodriguez, Abraham Wallander, Andrew Charlton, Rileigh Charlton and numerous devoted relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, please send donations as a gift in loving memory of Clementine Charlton to St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 15500 El Camino Real, Houston, TX 77062.
