Coleto Golden, 93, died on June 3, 2012, at the Bayshore Hospital in Pasadena, TX. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, with burial following at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper. A native of Alto, TX and former longtime resident of Nederland and Jasper, Coleto lived the past seven years in Pasadena, TX. A member of Plum- ridge Baptist Church, she was the past President of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary #6380, a member of the Jasper Chapter #291 Order of the Eastern Star, and the past President of the Lake County Square's (square dancing club). She enjoyed fishing, quilting, and square dancing. She is survived by son, Leonard Wayne Duckworth and wife, Lyndal of Pasadena, TX; daughter, Sheila Underwood and husband, Daren of Dripping Springs, TX; two stepsons, Howard Lewis Golden and wife, Carol of Lufkin, TX and Wilbert Theriot Jr. and wife, Mary; three step-daugh- ters, Barbara Jean Cole and husband, John of Jasper, TX, Carla Spell and husband, Buddy, Mary Smith and husband, Don; brother, John Knight of Call, TX; sisters, Elizabeth Rogers of Dayton, TX and Ruby Lehman of Lufkin, TX; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Golden; two sons, John Charles Duckworth and Bert Henry Duckworth; and brother, Jimmie Knight.
