1933-2016 Cora Mae Noack (Guidry) , age 83, departed from this life on August 7th, 2016 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Cora is survived by her daughter Jody (Noack) Schnabel, son in law Paul, grandson Austin and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Red Noack of Groves. Also preceded in death were her siblings and their spouses', Chester Guidry & Jenny, Andrew Doyce Guidry & Carlene, Rita (Guidry) Gaspard & Ivy , and Mary Ann (Guidry) LaCroix & Gene. Cora graduated from St. James High School in 1951 and the pursued a nursing degree which she received in 1954. Cora worked as a Nurse for many years in Port Arthur at St. Mary's Hospital & other private practices . Cora was much loved by her family and friends and was deeply involved in her church, as a long time parishioner of St James Parish in Port Arthur. She moved to Scottsdale to be nearer to her daughter and family after the passing of her beloved Red in 2009. Her family and friends will always remember Cora as someone always ready to lend an ear, help others and share her blessings with the less fortunate. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Groves will be held on September 3rd at 10:00 am with a reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Groves.
