1958 - 2016 Danny Floyd Walters, 57, of Beaumont, died Saturday, February 20, 2016. He was born on May 21, 1958, to Lucille Jeansonne and Floyd Raymond Hamilton Walters, in Kountze. Danny was a loyal and dedicated employee of thirty years with Exxon Mobil, where he worked as a crane inspector. He took a medical retirement due to brain cancer in early 2015 and will be sorely missed by his co-workers. Danny will be remembered as a kind, gentle and caring follower of Christ who deeply loved his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of eighteen years, Susie Walters; daughters, Keisha Hand and her husband, Bill, of Nederland and Kaitlyn Walters of Beaumont; grandsons, Brayden Hand, Kasen Hand, Dexter Trahan, and Maxwell Trahan; sisters, Debbie Sylvester and Gwen Janise, both of Evadale, and April Bell of Lumberton; and mother, Lucille Woodard. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Walters and sister, Vicky Anderson. A gathering of Mr. Walters' family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Broussard's, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
