David Ballie LeBlanc, Sr., 73, of Beaumont, TX, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. David graduated from Hebert High School in 1958. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps and later in the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Sr., and Nolia LeBlanc; brothers, Leo LeBlanc, Sr. and Alvin LeBlanc, Jr.; sisters, Roberta Truss and Patricia Harrison; and son, David LeBlanc, Jr. Ballie, as he was known to his family and friends, will be missed by his wife of 47 years, Margie Nell LeBlanc of Beaumont; son, Anthony LeBlanc of Chicago, IL; brother, Joseph LeBlanc of Beaumont; sister and her husband, Barbara LeBlanc Joseph and Glenn of Beaumont; and a host of numerous loving relatives and friends. Celebration of Life services for Ballie will be at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, 3390 Sarah St., in Beaumont, on Monday, August 6, 2012. The visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., immediately followed by the Rosary at 10:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m., with Ballie being buried with military honors at Live Oak Memorial Park, under the professional care and direction of Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel.
