1958 - 2015 A Celebration of Daylene Miller Clark's life, age 57, of Kemah, TX. will be 2:00 PM-Sunday-March 15, 2015 at The Burkeville Church of God with burial to follow in Mattox Cemetery in Mayflower Community. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM-Saturday-March 14, 2015, at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper. Daylene passed from this world to the next on March 12, 2015, at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Tx. She was born January 8, 1958, in Port Arthur, Tx. to Jack Dayle and Verline Clifton Miller. A graduate from Burkeville High School and from Lamar University, Beaumont, she worked diligently and passionately as an insurance Agent, Teacher, Realtor, and Banker. Her most important role was that of a Mother and MawMaw. Daylene's passion in life was to help single mothers have a home for their children. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of thirty- seven years, Randy Wade Clark, son Tyler Wade Clark both of Kemah, Tx., daughters A'ndrea Smalley and husband Jason of Martinshohe, Germany, Kelly Anne Dickerson and husband Chris of Houston, Tx.; Grandchildren Hayley Hodges, Scarlett Smalley, Quinn Smalley, and future baby girl Dickerson; brothers Phillip Miller of Kemah, Tx. and Jimmy Miller of The Woodlands, Tx.; Sister Dana Thornton and husband Norman of League City, Tx. ; Mother and Father-in-Law J. W. and Mary Lou Clark of Mayflower, Tx. She was also survived by a host of other family and friends. Daylene was preceded in death by her parents Jack Dayle and Verline Miller, niece Candace and nephew John Eric. Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
