Dewitt Moody, 82, of Kirbyville died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Rayburn Healthcare in Jasper. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A native of Urania, Louisiana, he had lived in Kirbyville 45 years and was retired from Jasper-Newton Electric Co-op. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Moody of Kirbyville; sons, Steve & Debbie Crocker of Silsbee, and Jeff & Penny Crocker of Lumberton; daughters, Beckie & Jo Wilkinson of Buna, Debra Hoose of Sour Lake, and Stephanie & Terry Barron of Highlands, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
