Diana Cassidy Tolar, 63, of Doucette, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Woodville with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5-9 p.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville. Diana was born August 3, 1950 to Basel Cassidy & Velma Taylor in Beaumont, Texas. She was a retired teacher from W.I.S.D. and when she was not teaching, she was helping her husband with the family farm. She was preceded in death by her father, Basel Cassidy. Diana is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bill Tolar of Doucette; sons, Billy Tolar & wife, Krystal of Woodville, Bobby Tolar & wife, Holley of Huntington; daughter, Glenda Tolar Hicks & husband, Leslie of Silsbee; mother & step-father, Velma & Jack Taylor of Ivanhoe; brother, Daren Cassidy & wife, Donna of Beaumont; sister, Jennie LeBlanc & husband, Joe of Orange; and 7 grandchildren.
