Don Cap'n Hall, 85, of China, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on July 30, 1927, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Cecil Jennings Hall and Ed Hall, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Don refereed high school football and track and field for many years, and was a retired from DuPont as superintendent in the electrical department, after thirty-one years of service. He loved spending time with his family and the outdoors. Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Marge Hall; daughter, Dolores Hall and her husband, Ray Ceese, of Montrose, Colorado; sons, Graydon Hall and his wife, Tina, of Lumberton; and David Hall and his wife, Debbie, of China; grandchildren, Garydon Hall, Ryan Hall, Lacey Burns, Danielle Hall, and Dawn Hall; great-grandson, Tavin Hall; brother, Arnold Hall and his wife, Ruth, of Georgetown; sister, Marie Taylor and her husband, Emmitt, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and brother-in-law, Gary Miller of Durango, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kelton Hall. A gathering of Mr. Hall's family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Broussard's, with interment to follow at China Cemetery, China. Memorial contributions may be made to M. D. Cancer Center, P. O.
