Donald Ray Baker, 76, of Lumberton, Texas, passed from this life on December 10th, 2013. He was born on June 8th, 1937 in Tanglewood, Texas, to Mamie Naomi (Shaver) and Ross Delton Baker. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Baker of Lumberton;sons,Robert Langham (Toni), Thomas Langham (Katherine), and Cory Baker, all of Lumberton, and Donald Lee Baker of Port Arthur; daughter, Traci Young (Chuck) of Silsbee; brother, Jimmy Baker of Beaumont; and sister, Bess Staha of Vidor; 12 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; and his favorite companion, his dog, Macey. Donald is preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Baker; grandson, Robby Langham; brothers, Hubert & Ross Jr. Baker; and sister, Lillian Spence. Mr. Baker was a proud Union man, retiring from Ironworkers Local #125. The family wishes to send a special thanks to Rev. & Mrs. Jeff Pitman of Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church of Kountze, for their outpouring of love and prayer, River City Hospice, and the wonderful and caring Angels from We Care Providers for their delicate and dedicated care during the final days.
